Today's the day. The 10th Anniversary of My Favorite Modern Video Game series of all time...Skylanders! I thought Toys for Bob would forget about Skylanders but thankfully they didn't. They remembered. Skylanders is the series that put them on the map way before Crash and Spyro got they're remasters and Crash 4. I fell in love with this series when I first saw the first trailer for it and I still love this series to this day(Even if there is no new games coming out) So in honor of Skylanders 10th Anniversary I'm going to talk about How the series changed my life. I started when I was first introduced to Spyro the Dragon back in the late 90s. The first Spyro game I ever played was Spyro 2 Ripto's Rage and it was a really good game it was colorful,fun,challenging had a few childhood traumas with the game but It was still a great game and My Favorite Spyro Game of all Time. Then I played the First Spyro the Dragon Game and that game was great. I didn't play Spyro 3 until I was in the 5th Grade. I did play Enter the Dragonfly which is the Worst Spyro Game. It had good music but the game was rushed. Season of Flame made up for it and it was really good. At first I thought Spyro was dead after Shadow Legacy until I saw a commerical for a new Spyro Game called "The Legend of Spyro A New Beginning" I was excited at first but then I lost interest but I was surprised about Cynder though. Then in 2011 I read a Gameinformer Magazine that showed a new Spyro game coming soon called "Skylanders Spyro's Adventure" I didn't see Spyro yet but it looked different compared to the Legend of Spyro Series. Soon My brother showed me what Spyro looked like in the game. He did look a little off but honestly I wanted to see the game itself and it really blew me away. My Best memories with Spyro's Adventure are when My brother got me Zap,Eruptor,Sonic Boom and Drobot on Black Friday,When I got the game on Christmas Day and When I got the first Skylander I ever bought which is Stealth Elf(Which is why she's my second favorite Skylander) Here are my Favorite Skylanders from each game.

I've made a lot of new friends thanks to Skylanders and yes I've also ran into some annoying toxic OG Spyro Fans who hate the series. I also created a Skylanders and MLP Crossover Fanfic that I kinda regret making. I was also going to make a Fanfic called "Adventures in Skylanders" Featuring OC Characters and Characters from the Original Spyro Games too. But It never came to be. Skylanders also got me into learning about Greek Mythology and other Mythical Creatures I've heard of or seen before. Most of all Skylanders inspired me to create my first cartoon and my very own video game for the future. I'd like to thank Toys for Bob,Vicarious Visions and Beenox for bring this series to life and making Skylanders one of the best selling video games of the modern era. I hope new things for the series happen in the future weather it be a 7th Game, A Remaster or a Reboot for the Franchise or even a Reintroduce in the rumored Spyro 4 Game. So I'd to say Happy 10th Anniversary Skylanders! Thanks for all the fun the memories and the collecting!

Well Its been a Wild Ride but its finally over. Super Smash Bros Ultimate has come to an end. I had a lot of great memories with the series since I first played Melee on the Gamecube when I was 8. It was a new experience for me. Then I played the Original on N64. Had a Blast with Brawl. Love the last game and Ultimate was an absolute masterpiece. What started as a Nintendo Crossover to now a Celebration of Gaming. Also Smash Bros introduced me to new games I've never heard of like Metroid,Star Fox,F-Zero Earthbound,Custom Robo,Persona,King of Fighters and more. Sure there is a toxic side to the Smash Community and its crap but the good side is much better. I was really happy when they added characters like Mega Man,Pac-Man,Meta Knight,Pit and Paluentina,Sonic The Hedgehog,Wario,Cloud Strife and Sephiroth Duck Hunt,R.O.B,Mr Game and Watch,Miis,Banjo and Kazooie,Kazuya Mishima and many more. Now that Sora is the last character it really did end with a bang. I thought it was gonna be a mixed bag but I was wrong. I'll admit Sora's Trailer was actually pretty cool. So is the stage and music and playstyle. I'm looking forward to playing has him in the future. I almost forgot that Nintendo and Disney use to work together back then especially during Nintendo's Humble Beginnings when they made Playing Cards. Also Sora is the First Disney Character to ever be in Smash. That means Disney plays a role in Nintendo's History. All I gotta say is Thank You Masahiro Sakurai! Thanks for all the memories and all the fun and heart that you and your team has put in to the Ultimate Gaming Crossover! I hope you and your team have a wonderful and amazing vacation. #ThankYouSakurai

E3 was pretty much a total downer this year. There were some things that were pretty cool like the Final Fantasy Origins Game and Mario and Rabbids Sparks of Hope. But Everything else was just a huge let down. That is until Nintendo arrived and boy did they deliver! First off Mario Party Superstars! I'm looking forward to playing that! I mean Super Mario Party was fun but I only had 4 boards. I hope that this game adds some boards from Mario Party 7 (My Favorite from the Mario Party Series) like Grand Canal, Neon Heights or Pyramid Park. Next is Wario Ware Get it Togther. Its been a long time since I've Played Wario Ware. I love Wario Ware. I missed out on Gold but I'm planning to get that game soon. I'm so excited to play this new Wario Ware Game also the Co-Op mode is an excellent idea! I wonder what new microware games we'll have in the game? Who knows? We'll have to wait and see. As for Advance Wars. Its great to see Nintendo bring back a dead franchise (I wish they brought back Custom Robo). As for Breath of the Wild 2. The game looks beautiful so far but We'll have to wait even longer. As for the Zelda Game and Watch Game. I knew that was gonna happen. If it happend to Mario Its gonna happen to Zelda too. I think Nintendo is on the something with these Game and Watches. Too bad we didn't get Zelda Remakes/Remasters(Maybe in the next direct). As for everything else.......some were good and some were meh. But the one that really made me super surprised and happy is the Kazuya Mishima from Tekken is in Super Smash Bros Ultimate! I have always wanted a Tekken character in Smash Bros Ultimate. At First I wanted Heihachi Mishima to be in Smash but then he ended up as a Mii Costume. Then I wanted Jin Kazama to be in Smash Bros. But Many people said the Lloyd Irving from the Tales of Series was a better fit for Smash(Although many people argue about the whole "Anime Swordsman" thing) and people thought a Tekken Character wouldn't work or it would be to niche(I saw the interview of what Mr.Sakurai said about Heihachi) But then E3 came and now We got a Tekken Character! I love Tekken! I'm a BIG Tekken fan! It was one of my favorite games from my childhood. I still play Tekken to this day. I'm still surprised that some people think Tekken in a niche series when in reality Tekken in one of the most popular fighting games in the world.(And besides Tekken is more popular than the Tales of Series anyway)Kazuya is one of my favorite characters in the game next to Jin,Heihachi,Yoshimistu,Lars,Alisa,Jun,Ogre,Jinpachi,Devil Jin,Etc. As for Lloyd. I guess he's going to be a Mii Costume again. Which I do feel bad for the Lloyd fans. I started learning more about the Tales of Series back in February and understood why people want Lloyd in Smash plus I also like the battle system. Its pretty neat. Heck I would have love they did what they did with Hero from DQ and add other Tales of Characters along with Lloyd. I can't wait to play as Kazuya is Smash! He's gonna be my new main so Banjo has been replaced. He's gonna be my #2 now. Also I hope they pick out some good tracks cause Tekken has great music! Now we have 1 Character left. Who is gonna be? No one knows? But I know people are gonna go back to the same old characters people keep predicting and speculating over and over. Who do I think is gonna be in the game for the last character? I have 3 Guesses. A First Party Nintendo Character, A Third Party Character no one has talked about, And Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden.

1. Why a First Party Character?-Well we did get a Third Party at E3. So I think were most likley gonna get a first party character. Maybe a DK character like Dixie or a Kirby Character like Bandana Waddle Dee or even The Champions of Hyrule from Zelda. Or a Retro Nintendo Character. I also think that it could be Master Hand and Crazy Hand. That one would be crazy but It would be surprising that people would not see that coming!

2. Why a Third Party Character no one has talked about?-Let's face it. Most of the Characters in FP2 were all unexcepted characters. Min-Min was an obvious pick and few people have predicted Steve. But the rest. No one saw them coming especially Kazuya. In my opinion as for the Characters people keep speculating all the time because of the fan rule of popularity like Sora, Crash, Master Chief, Doomguy etc. I think their chances are either unlikely or dead. After seeing most of the fighters pass I don't think any of them will become the last fighter for Smash. This is why I think we'll get a 3rd Party character no one has been talking about. I know a lot of people get pissed that we get a character from a niche series. but hey it is what it is. There is only one character I think who has a good chance to get in that people talk about and its the next one I'm gonna talk about.

3. Why Ryu Hayabusa?-Koei Tecmo is already on board and they don't have a character to represent them. Also there are a lot of people who want this guy and I think he could be a great idea to end off FP2. I played the NES Ninja Gaiden on my Switch twice and it was a pretty good game. Plus I played as Ryu in one of the Dead of Alive games. One of my friends would love to see Ryu make it into the game and I think this could be Ryu's chance to be in Smash. Out of all the characters that people have speculated Ryu I think has the highest chance to be in Smash Bros Ultimate. He's company is in the game and they have a great relationship with Nintendo and Ninja Gaiden is a NES Classic. So I think Ryu would be an awesome way to end of FP2

Also I thought about this theory. In FP1 All the characters are Protagonists. Joker,Hero,Banjo,Terry and Byleth. As for FP2 Its a little different. Min Min is not the main character of Arms, Steve is a Default character in Minecraft, Sephiroth is the Main Villain in Final Fantasy 7, Pyra and Mythra are Deuteragonists in Xenoblade 2 and Kazuya use to be the Protagnist in Tekken but now he's an Antagonist. I think Sakurai wants to add characters in the pass that are not the main characters and are instead Deuteragonists, Anti Heroes , Side Characters and Villains. But that's just my theory.

Anyway. E3 maybe be a bummer but at least Nintendo came to save the day.

Indie Games. Created by small developing teams. Here's my thoughts on Indie Games and how I started getting into them. At first I thought Indie Games were a waste of time. I was more into playing more AAA games from the big companies(Not Call of Duty or any of the first person shooters). That is until my brother got this game called "Castle Crashers" and it was made by the same guy who made Newgrounds Tom Fulp. My brother told me to try it and I gave it a shoot and it was actually pretty good. It also had some pretty funny moments too. Soon then on the Internet I found out there are many other Indie Games and a lot of people were giving them attention. Games like Five Nights at Freddy's, Undertale, Super Meat Boy, Shovel Knight and more. During 2017 when I got my Nintendo Switch I got another indie game called "Mighty Gunvolt Burst" after Mighty No.9 failed. The game reminded me of Mega Man and it was pretty good too. As for indie games I mentioned even they started to become more toxic from what I've seen. Then in 2018 I got another game called "88 Heroes 98 Heroes Edition" and I really liked it most of the characters were references to other games and pop culture. I also got other games like "The Escapists 1 and 2" and The Wonder Boy Remake (If it counts). Soon I was starting to warm up to Indie Games and actually learn about they're purpose. Indie Games were needed because back then FPSs were dominating the gaming market. Thanks to games like "Braid", "Castle Crashers", and "Cave Story" it made people realize that there are more to games than just FPSs. Soon then I started playing more indie games like "Shovel Knight Showdown", "Skull Girls", "One Step to Eden", "Blade Strangers", "Supermash", "Nefarious" and a few others. Then I stumbled upon Undertale. I was nervous to play it because of the toxic fanbase. But then I learned to separate the game from the fanbase thanks to a youtuber who liked the game and was aware of the fanbase. Oh and he also said to give Deltarune a shot too. So I played Undertale and its actually not that bad I haven't got that far into the game but I will someday. As for Deltarune I actually liked it. At first I thought it was a sequel to Undertale but its not it just takes place in a Alternate Universe. Now I think Indie Games are pretty cool and there are some ones that I should give a shot. Last Week I watched an Indie World Direct and I liked it, I'm looking forward to playing this game called "Inmost". It looks depressing and creepy but it could also fun. Another reason I started liking Indie Games is see characters from those games in Luigifan00001's Videos like the one where Mario, Geno, Mallow and Bowser had to rescue Peach from the Knights from Shovel Knight and an episode of Total Stuffed Fluffed Island S3 where Crow from Nefarious was a host(Both were really good episodes). So now I think Indie Game are awesome and I'm looking forward to playing new ones in the future.

Before I talk about today's topic, I'm just glad to hear about Min Min being the next fighter in Smash Ultimate also that means the Spirit Rule has been debunked. So I don't wanna here another "Geno can't be in Smash because he is a Spirit!" Cause all I'm gonna say is "Tell that to Min Min."

Now then, There are something I just gotta say about Super Smash Bros. Ever since Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS came out many fans were hoping to get a lot of iconic characters to appear and duke it out against Nintendo's Greatest Characters. And then when they found out the Nintendo chose an obscure character that nobody asked for like when they saw the leak for the 3DS game, they freaked out and bash Sakurai just because they didn't get a character that they wanted. Most people assume that Super Smash Bros is for Popular Video Game icons only. Is this true? Well Not Really. Nintendo does include some of their characters that people haven't heard of in years like The Ice Climbers in Melee, Pit and R.O.B in Brawl and Duck Hunt in Smash 4 also in the 1st DLC Pack for Ultimate, Hero and Terry are examples of Obscure Characters. Hero is obscure because he's really popular in Japan than in the US and as for Terry not many people know who Terry is unless they've played Fatal Fury or King of Fighters in the Arcade or has owned a NEO GEO.(Besides, King of Fighters was the Inspiration for Smash Bros anyway.) Every time I look at a Top 10 Characters that need to be in Smash Bros List I always see and hear about the same characters like Sora, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Doom Guy, Dante, Heihachi Mishima(I still would love a Tekken Character in the game but I changed my mind about Heihachi), Rayman, Shantae, Geno(Although I too want Geno to be playable in Smash),Rex and Pyra, Paper Mario, Bandana Waddle Dee, Minecraft Steve, Waluigi(Although that will never happen) etc. Now I understand that all those characters are most wanted because their popular but people act like its the end of the world if any of them don't appear in the game. When Sakurai said that "Everyone is Here" he meant everyone from the previous games not every single video game character. There are people who make lists of obscure fighters to be in Smash but they always get the same responses like The character has a 0% chance to become playable in Smash. Mainly because they're either Useless in the battlefield, they're not popular enough, they're haven't had a new game in years or they're infamous in the gaming community and obscure characters are better off as Mii Costumes and Spirits for more popular characters. They might attack like a pack of angry wolves if you have a different opinion or you don't agree with what character they want. The reason why most of the characters I choose on my lists are obscure is because they are many other characters that can also be playable too like Jin Kazama, Dig Dug, Frogger, Kite, Neptune, Arthur, Stealth Elf and a few others. Some people will say the certain characters will ruin the game, The only characters I can think of that will ruin the game are Bubsy the Bobcat, Freddy Fazbear and the WORST of them all The Fortnite Avatar(Since many people hate Fornite and the game is popular with kids that would give the fans a major outrage!) The Reason why I think Obscure charcters matter in Smash is because they introduce people to games they've never heard of that's how i started playing games like KOF, Shovel Knight, Dragon Quest, Persona, Xenoblade and more. I think we're most likley gonna get a Gen 8 Pokemon and Another Retro Nintendo Character in the Pass anyway. So that's the reason why I think Obscure Characters can still have a chance to be in Smash.
